Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how you can cancel or seek a refund for a service that you have purchased through the Platform (https://settlhealth.in), operated by ADVAIT CHERISH CART PVT LTD ("SettlHealth", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.

SettlHealth is not an insurance product and does not deliver physical goods. All plans are digital service subscriptions for structured OPD healthcare support. Accordingly, refund eligibility is limited to the specific conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation requests will only be considered if the request is made within 30 days of subscription activation. Requests raised after this window will not be entertained.
  • Cancellation requests may not be processed if the subscription has already been communicated to and activated by our service team, and healthcare wallet benefits have been made available to you.
  • Since SettlHealth provides a digital subscription service and does not deal in perishable goods or physical deliveries, provisions relating to damaged/defective physical goods are not applicable. However, if you experience a service delivery issue (e.g., wallet not activated, incorrect plan applied), please report it to our customer service team immediately.
  • If you believe the service received does not match the plan description shown on the Platform, you must report this to our customer service within 7 days of subscription activation. Our team will review and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Any complaint related to benefit payouts processed under your subscription must be raised within 7 days of the payout date. The customer service team will review and take an appropriate decision after due verification.
  • ADVAIT CHERISH CART PVT LTD does not accept cancellation requests after any expense request has been submitted (whether approved, rejected, or under review) under the subscription.

3. Subscription Terms

  • All SettlHealth plans (Enterprise, Senior Parents Add-on) are billed on an annual basis. Payment is due upfront for the full subscription year.
  • Enterprise (B2B) subscriptions are funded by the employer organisation and are subject to separate organisational agreements. Individual employees may not independently request a refund for enterprise-plan contributions.
  • The Senior Parents Plan add-on is always self-paid and is never linked to employer contributions. It follows the same refund rules as other personal plans.

4. No-Refund Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The 30-day cancellation window from subscription activation has expired.
  • Any expense request has been submitted — whether approved, rejected, or pending — under the subscription.
  • The subscription was suspended or terminated due to a policy violation, fraud, or submission of forged/duplicate documents.
  • Partial refunds for unused months are not available once the 30-day window has closed.
  • Payment gateway charges (PhonePe transaction fees) are non-refundable under all circumstances.

5. Eligible Refund Conditions

A refund may be issued only if all of the following conditions are simultaneously satisfied:

  • The cancellation request is submitted within 30 days of subscription activation.
  • No claim has been submitted (approved, rejected, or pending) under the subscription.
  • The request is raised via email to care@settlhealth.in from your registered email address with your subscription ID.
  • KYC verification must have been completed for the refund to be processed to your bank account.

6. Senior Parents Plan Add-on — Specific Rules

  • The Senior Parents Plan add-on is always self-paid and independent of any employer plan.
  • The same 30-day cancellation window and no-claims condition applies to the add-on.
  • A refund for the add-on is calculated independently of the primary plan and does not affect the primary plan subscription.

7. Refund Processing & Timeline

In case of any refund approved by ADVAIT CHERISH CART PVT LTD, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. Timelines by payment method:

  • UPI: 3–5 business days.
  • Credit / Debit card: 7–10 business days depending on the issuing bank.
  • Net banking: 5–7 business days.
  • All refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of subscription.
  • SettlHealth is not responsible for delays caused by banking intermediaries or payment processors once the refund has been initiated from our end.

8. How to Request a Cancellation / Refund

  1. Email us at care@settlhealth.in from your registered email address.
  2. Subject line: "Cancellation / Refund Request — [Your Subscription ID]"
  3. Include: your full name, registered mobile number, plan name, activation date, and reason for cancellation.
  4. Our support team will verify eligibility and acknowledge within 2 business days.
  5. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

9. Disputes

If you believe a refund or cancellation decision is incorrect, you may escalate the matter by writing to care@settlhealth.in with the subject "Refund Dispute — [Your Subscription ID]". We aim to resolve all disputes within 10 business days. Unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh as per our Terms & Conditions.
